jaime, chad, and petra, boston – part 1, petra and the family
it was such an extraordinary honor to have jaime and chad fly me out to boston to capture their gorgeous daughter petra. spending the whole day with them gave me the opportunity to do portraits and document the beauty of so many little moments in their day.
sitting on the floor in jaime and chad’s living room,i was so aware how fast my own son has grown and how delicate my memories are of so many parts of his growth up to now. from that place it felt like the most important job in the world to capture little petra, just as she is, at 6 months so jaime and chad never forget.
kimba, the family bengal, was our ever present companion. i really think he was guarding the family from me but by the end of a very long day, i won his heart and he curled up on my lap. he gets his own special part of this blog post.
i cannot thank jaime, chad, petra and kimba enough for opening their home and hearts to me.

Love the last one. Something about combining the normalcy of daily life with your amazing work touches me to the core. You are, once again, amazing
love it. love it. love it.
I am absolutely in love with all of them. They are so beautiful! I think my favorite Petra one is #3. I was standing behind you when you took this one, and the way you captured the light is amazing!
Jen- these are fantastic!! The colors look fantastic, and it’s wonderful how you’ve captured such personal moments in life.
