gotta love thatcher.
i truly had given up on my winter garden. i was sure the summer corn had sucked up all the nutrients from the soil. so i gave up and ignored it for a month and next thing i knew we had broccoli! cauliflower and cabbage! now lets just see if it grows past this miniature stage and i can cook some fabulous soups and gratins.

That looks yummy. Isn’t it funny, just when you give up on gardens they always surprise you!
