two more wild horses
these two loved my camera. i love horse eyes.

Gorgeous! I love that they have eyelashes.
So beautiful! I wish I could see them in person.
Horses have the kindest eyes. Beautiful shots Jen.
wild horses
we took fox to return to freedom ranch to learn about the plight of our wild horses. it is a wonderful sanctuary devoted to the freedom of wild horses.
here is a picture of my favorite herd family from the day

Simply gorgeous!
jaime, chad and petra, boston – part 4, kimba
kimba is sort of part domestic cat, part wildcat and part dog i think. definately deserving of his own blog post.

How did you get that cat to do that? He does tricks! This must be the pretzel cat trick.
omg. love the flying cat. sooo rad.
The last photo is my favorite, I love when kimba does this, I just want to bury my face in his fur! From the bottom of my heart thank you for capturing my family in the most amazing photos ever. We will treasure our memories from this day and the pictures forever.
He’s got great personality, and you captured it so well. I don’t know how he does it, but when he curls his head underneath his body, it’s my favorite pose.
oreo is more than just cream filled
we found this cat two weeks ago and the girl is preggers! we got her an ultrasound yesterday and she is pregnant with 4 kittens. when we got her she was really skinny but when she started to out eat our 15 pound cat, gain weight by the day and sleep all the time, we knew something was up. we are taking orders for her kittens. her escapades happened before we found her so we have zero idea of who the father is or what they kittens will look like but it should be a fun surprise. they should be here in 2-3 weeks.
here she is passed out on my messy desk which is her current favorite spot.

oreo your going to be so cute when you’re a mom. i hope you have black and white and orange kittens. i don’t want to watch you have them though but i love you okay?
pam has dibs on one only if and i quote “its white and beautiful”
ali is #2
who wants 3 and 4?
WE WANT THREE AND FOUR AND ANY OTHERS YOU CANT FIND HOMES FOR
cooper
cooper is a registered therapy dog and his mom lauren uses him to work with autistic kids. i love golden doodles, they remind me of giant teddy bears! cooper did a great job of working out the action shots and being still for some very shallow depth of field portraits. break out the hot dogs and cooper is ready to do anything for them.

Love the bubble shot–makes you wonder: Are they going up, or down? Also the ‘alligator’ shot in the pool. Great!
Thank you for taking Cooper’s pictures!!! They turned out so amazing! I love the first one of him running…he was also thankful to have another excuse to go swimming! Thanks again!
Love the bubbles and the running. My favorite is #3 for some reason. He just looks sooo happy. That one just speaks to me
sebastian and sigmund
with a few treats in my hand, these two did an excellent job of listening yesterday and i love what we got. thanks you two.

Thank you for coming over and taking our picture yesterday…we think you’re the best picture taker ever! Woof! Woof!
finally, another girl in the house.
introducing . . . OREO. at least that is her name this hour. fox got to pick the name but we have had her 3 days and we have gone through these names: hello kitty, eva, nik, fluffy, trixie, maggie, and now . . .OREO. i think most appropriately for a black headed and tailed white in the middle cat – OREO.
fox and i were on a bike ride and this woman stopped us to ask if we knew this cat. she had been living in the woman’s yard for a week but the woman couldn’t keep her and was going to take her to the pound . . .GASP! we took her immediately to save her from the pound but really didn’t plan on keeping her but she is so sweet and instantly comfortable her that we decided she can stay. fox pulled shenny aside and had a serious talk with him and fox swears that shenny told him it was okay. based on the pics to follow, i’m not sure fox speaks cat but i’m sure they will be friends soon.
this stuff so belongs on cute overload
okay first, here is oreo.

here is shen looking at oreo.

oreo looking cute. shen very jealous that i’m taking pics of oreo (see him at back right in all his f1.8 blobness)

he is not gonna sit back and let this photo shoot happen.

attack cat.

then shen runs away from oreo and straight to jones for some comfort. he obviously thinks the humans have forsaken him and is in desperate need of some canine love.

now everybody together . . . . ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh . . . . . . .
aaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh seriously soo cute!!!! I’m so glad you added another cat to your household. Mattie would freak out! if Shen can handle jones then she can learn to love oreo too
Sooooooo sweet! Great pix!
Get outta here! Sheeez, I can’t stand how cute this is!
aaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! too adorable! Jones is a sweetie.

Those are great photos! Venus says thanks for taking her photo. She looks very dignified.
