david
i had the honor of shooting david kite last week. he is a phenomenal yogi and he and his wife mary were both such a pleasure to work with.
his yoga website is soon to launch with some of these images.

i have had the pleasure of doing a lot of yoga photography for jen an amazing local yogi. of course when she asked me for a headshot for her new site i insisted she work out some asana for me too. as much as the body of my yoga work has been done in natural and urban settings, yoga workswestlake is such a great space that i had wanted to shoot there for a while.
here is my fave of jen’s headshots and a few asana pics.
more info about jen on her site

jessica
my original plan for this shoot was totally derailed by locked gate and trespassing signs. okay it was more the locked gate than the trespassing sign but the two together made me nervous to do any fence scaling. it forced me though to find some other locations that i ended up very happy i had to find. i would absolutely love to take a couple back here! thanks to lauren and drew for being amazing assistants! they were amazing polaroid exposure timers

i can’t tell you how hard it is to balance in deep dirt like this. your hands sink into it and have no firm and stable foundation. not to mention it kills your wrists having the heel of your hand sink deeper than your fingers. jessica, i love this shot, thanks for your hard work!

here are my assistants lauren and drew. drew really is this unhappy in this pic and lauren is acting it for me.

i LOVE your yoga shots; especially this first one!!!
I really like the lines and color in the orange grove!
is this chick a super hero or what?!
definately a super hero AND a chick. what cameron you think all superheros are guys or what?!
A+ for effort
we hike a lot but i have never hiked with my camera bag on my back! and even though i emptied it of everything besides one body and two lenses, it was still heavier than i expected going straight up hill!
i am working on building a yoga stock collection of more urban stuff but when i saw this spot last week i knew i wanted to bring jessica here and do a few shots. and i’m really happy with the results. thanks to jessica for working it out on those rocks! and to eric for carrying the camelback. next time lets trade bags!

jones made peace with bouldering after his helicopter rescue two months ago. he was so hot but so happy.

long time no blog . . .
after having a horrible flu for more than half of march, that ended up with a trip to the emergency room and took me forever to really get better from, i’m back! with two weddings last weekend and some fun shoots on the side, expect more blogging soon.
for now feast your eyes on diane, a fabulous la yogini and actress. we had a lot of fun finding unusual spots for her shoot. i am love with this train yard!

Love the train tracks! You are so much braver than I am! Great yoga shots!
the third to last shot is SO COOL!
these are AWESOME! those red heels are such a fun, fantastic touch… i love how she looks so strong, yet feminine at the same time. and that “ode to NY” shot of her arms toward the sky should be huge on a billboard in time square!!! by the way, is this the train yard you were telling me about??
Terrific images! Very fun and so NY!
good to see you online again! You were amazing at our wedding. We just wish we could take you with us on our trip to Asia
my other passion . . .
yoga keeps me strong, sane and conscious. i have had an ongoing project for a while now shooting yogis and yoginis. i don’t find a lot of time to do it but when two of my yoga friends needed a simple headshot for a workshop the other day i grabbed this one killer shot that will definitely go in the project folder.

Great shot! I love how they meld into one person. Love the processing. I need to get back to the gym
Great Shot Jen! That deserves to be poster sized with an inspirational quote attached….
Great Shot. Love it. Enlarge it and hang it on a wall
Englarge it and send it off to a print competition. Love the treatment, composition….hell, its just awesome. Looking forward to seeing more.

oh wow, super cool! love the 99 cent store, great idea!
